 Apple Announces Apple Intelligence​

At the WWDC event, Apple revealed its new AI strategy called 'Apple Intelligence,' partnering with OpenAI and introducing new AI features for iOS 18, iPadOS, and macOS 15.

Siri Upgrades:

• Next-gen Siri: Siri will now talk more naturally, remember previous conversations, and handle more complex tasks
• Onscreen Awareness: Siri can now take actions using information on the device, making it more personalized for each user

🏥 Color and OpenAI tackle AI cancer care​

Health tech company Color has partnered with OpenAI to create an AI assistant to help doctors design personalized cancer screening and treatment plans, aiming to reduce delays in care.

Key Details:

• AI Copilot: Color’s new AI tool, built on GPT-4o, reviews patient data, medical guidelines, and records to find gaps in screenings and create custom diagnostic plans.
• Efficiency: By automating pre-treatment procedures, the AI saves crucial weeks or months, which is vital since cancer mortality risk increases by 6-13% with each month of delay.
• Test Results: During testing, doctors using the AI copilot identified four times more missing labs and tests than those who did not use it.
• Future Goals: Color plans to use AI-generated screening plans for over 200,000 patients by the end of 2024.
